YLC General Meeting Request Form

With the passing of the new Young Liberals of Canada Charter in late 2018 came changes to rules surrounding General Meetings for our Riding and Campus Clubs. So that these new rules are closely followed, we have developped this new general meeting request form in order to ensure all of the necessary steps are being taken.

Please complete the form below in as much detail as possible. Please note that an official general meeting notice must go out to all club members a minimum of 28 Days before the date of the meeting, therefore this form should be submitted at minimum 35 days before the proposed meeting date.

General Meeting Request Form

  • For a YLC general meeting, the meeting chair is generally a Registered Liberal (26+) who can run the General Meeting and ensure that the election conducted correctly. Examples of possible meeting chairs could be the an EDA Chair, a PTB Board Member, or a past club-member who is familiar with the process.
  • A club requires at least 10 Registered Liberals to remain an accredited club. At minimum, please include names and e-mail addresses
