Hotel Rates for the 2018 Liberal National Convention

In less than 85 days, Young Liberals from across Canada will be joining us in Halifax for the 2018 Liberal National Convention. With the lowest fees in decades for young Canadians, hotel rooms are booking up quickly! We want to ensure that you have all the information you need to make sure you get your spot at this one-of-a-kind event.

Regarding registration fees, should your exams conflict with the convention dates, we will be happy to issue you a full refund of your registration fee, provided that we receive a written notification 2 weeks prior.

If you need assistance finding roommates, or are in need of financial assistance in order to attend, please complete the form at the bottom of this page! We will do our best to accommodate everyone on a case-by-case basis.

We have negotiated special rates with several hotels across the city, all of which share the following policies:

  • All reservations require a credit card to guarantee your booking.  However, you will not be charged until check out.
  • If you cannot pay by credit card, you will require a $250 room deposit and full payment for your room plus applicable taxes.
  • If you will be sharing a room, please ensure that everyone has the cash at the time of check-in.
